Organized jointly by Publishing Talk and the London Book Fair, the first London Book Tweet will be an opportunity to drink, chat, network, tweet, TwitPic, AudioBoo and video with fellow publishers, authors, agents, journalists and other book industry folk.
We’ll start at one of the bars inside the Earls Court venue. Capacity is restricted to around 50 people, and we’re now at capacity for that part of the evening – but do add your name to the ‘waiting list’ on the Twtvite to register for the after-party at Eclipse!
We have exclusive use of the boutique basement club at Eclipse, just a 10 min walk from Earls Ct, with capacity for 120 people: great cocktails, great music, great people.
- Anna Lewis will announce the winners of the Author Blog Awards 2010
- Toby Rhind-Tutt will be on hand to take the official photographs
- Jon Reed will do short interviews with those willing for AudioBoo
- Suzanne Kavanagh and others will be brandishing a Flip video camera for a bit of YouTubery
Previous London book trade tweetups have been great opportunities to meet fellow book tweeps in real life, and connect with like-minded folk over a glass or several. The perfect way to unwind after a hard day’s Book Fairing. We look forward to seeing you there!
