This is a fabulous opportunity for a successful journalist who is looking for their next step up, to work for a consumer-based comparison website writing within the financial, energy and technology sector.

It’s imperative that you’re a trained journalist and comfortable sourcing your own news stories, as well as writing in-depth features. The company are expanding and need to hire a skilled online journalist to write copy and content for their website on a daily basis.

You must have some experience of writing for consumers in sectors relating to personal finance, money, savings or energy or similar and you must be a news savvy journalist with a strong consumer focus and understanding.

As you’ll be writing copy for consumers, you must have a writing style that is polished, accurate and fully understand the requirements of the readership.

This is a varied role, one that you will find challenging and rewarding. The company have new offices in Central London and they are growing rapidly. You’ll also have the opportunity to write across their other sectors including mobile telecoms, technology and digital.

The ideal candidate will have experience of writing news and features for from either a b2b or consumer background, and be comfortable working on the personal finance and energy sector.

It’s not important if you haven’t a huge amount of experience writing for the web or the sector, but that would be an advantage. But what is important is that you’re a trained journalist with a proven track record, and looking to prove yourself to a wider audience.
